The games are over and we won 2 Gold and 2 Silver Medals. Thank you

Team Raggamufin
We are athletes from New York forming a cycling team to compete in the Gay Games 2010 which will be held in Cologne, Germany. These games will run from July 31st though August 7th 2010.

We have trained long and hard for this competition and we are still training at present. We are a three member cycling team and we range in age from 30-55 years. Most of the team has participated in the Gay Games before and our veteran status makes us very knowledgeable of what it takes to win.  Together we make an awesome team!

Our training includes cycling uphill, hard surface training, speed cycling, and long Distance riding. We have trained individually and as a team for the last 5months and will continue to train until the day of the competition. We are committed to the task at hand and will take nothing for granted.

The funds will be used to pay for transportation from New York to Germany. It will also pay for our lodging at different small apartments, which is how most of the athletes will reside. Additionally, the money will be used to maintain our bikes and any other necessary equipment for the competition.

In advance, the team appreciates your time and energy in supporting us through this significant endeavor.
